Ms. Carter's Welcome Page

Ms. Carter is currently the 8th grade Science teacher at NPA. She's had the pleasure of teaching at NPA for the last 6 years. She graduated from Lehman College with her bachelor's  degree in Biology. While teaching at NPA she was able to obtain her Master's degree in Education from St. Johns University. She is a huge advocate for STEM and all things Science. Her passion is all about teaching students how to do hard things and cultivating meaningful relationships with children. In 8th grade, there are 4 main units of study.

-Unit 3: Reproduction, Growth and Development

-Unit 4: Adaptations, Evolution, and Natural Selection.

-IXL can be accessed directly from this page where students can have more at home practice of skills that are being learned in the classroom.

-Jupiter can be accessed directly from this page where parents and students can stay up to date with grades and assignments that have been given.
