  • N/A00:19 The Big Red Apple

On a warm and sunny summer day, a group of enthusiastic 6th-grade students and their teachers had a wonderful opportunity to engage and interact with the local community in an engaging end-of-school-year exploration that focused on the rich and vibrant history of the Bronx. The highlight of their expedition was the captivating installation of the Big Red Apple, which had been temporarily installed in the area and was designed by the renowned LeMonde Studio from Québec. The installation was a sight to behold, and it activated public spaces, attracting visitors to pause, reflect, and celebrate the power of art and community. The Big Apple is currently touring NYC, having already visited major locations such as Hudson Yards and Lincoln Square, and now it is proudly leaving its mark in the Bronx.
